Depending on your personal interests, our team will guide you through all the sites.

You might choose to visit such wonders as Federation Square, the MCG and our world-famous sports precinct where the Australian Open Takes Place. We can also take you to St Patrick’s Cathedral and then outside of the city centre to Albert Park Lake (home of the Formula One Grand Prix) and over to St Kilda Beach.

We recommend that you finish your tour by visiting Eureka Tower. You will take the super-speedy elevator to Eureka Skydeck 88 scraping Melbourne’s awe inspiring skyline where you will be spoiled with 360 degree views of the city, Port Phillip Bay and out to the Dandenongs and the Yarra Valley.

Heading further afield, take a walk on the beach at St Kilda, browse the clothing boutiques of Chapel Street, or enjoy the Italian atmosphere of Carlton. Wherever you end up visiting, the tour includes a stop for morning tea.

This half day tour of Melbourne was very enjoyable. Fred was an excellent guide and gave us many ideas of what to see and do over the next couple of days. His stories along the way kept up entertained the entire time. I only wish he could have been our guide for the Phillip Island Penguin tour....

Who would have thought that doing a tour in your own city would be so enjoyable. Fred is a natural communicator and is so entertaining and professional. I can not recommend more highly a tour by Fred for everyone living right here in this the most beautiful of cities, or for those coming from elsewhere. Simply divine!

Very informative for a half day tour. Lots of sights and could be customized to your needs. Small van was used for the private tour. Coffee or tea stop was included with a pastry shop.

What a fun guy...make sure you are rested and have had your coffee because Fred is full of energy! We were on the last leg of our Australian adventure and into our second day in Melbourne and had the 4 hour city tour which worked out great. Fred gave us the 4 hour lay of the land and history of Melbourne which we found very interesting. Plus, we were very impressed with his ease of driving those complicated city streets so effortlessly. Fred spent a little extra time to mark our maps with some of his recommendations of where we should go and how to get there. That was tremendously helpful and we hit all the hot spots. Enjoy!

Fred was our amazing tour guide for a half day tour of Melbourne. His humor, story telling, and knowledge of Melbourne was impressive on the tour. We could tell he really cared that our group would be able to experience all Melbourne had to offer in the days after our tour with him. Fred went way above and beyond the call of duty to show us additional neighborhoods in Melbourne and provide suggestions on activities to participate in for a truly memorable experience. The next time I return to Melbourne with a group of students, I will reserve all of my tours through Oceania Tours and with Fred!

In 30 years of traveling, I have never met a tour guide who exceeded all expectations as Fred. His enthusiasm and love for his city was infectious. Not only did he provide important and interesting information, he told us fascinating stories about what we were seeing. He was entertaining and funny while educating us, gave us plenty of time to check out sites and take pictures, never hurried us, gave us water and delicious TimTams, and stayed with us over the time we had been allotted. Fred is the quintessential tour guide. By the end of the tour he was family! For anyone visiting Melbourne, ask for Fred and you will have the most enjoyable tour of your life. From Vinnie A.

We had a lovely time during the tours. Our tour guide cum driver Frank was such a pleasure to have with us on the drive. He was very kind and knowledgeable, and very patient with us, especially with my elderly mom and dad. His knowledge of the areas we went was very good. We did both the Mornington Peninsular and the Yarra Valley Tour

On this city tour we had Ricarda, once again, as our driver/guide. She was flexible, knowledgeable, and a great person to talk to. We hit the high spots of the city and ended up at the beach for a walk and a great tea at a popular local café. This is an easy, leisurely way to get an overview of the city.
