For a day out catch the train from Castlemaine to Maldon, enjoy lunch in one of the family friendly cafes or pubs in Victoria's first notable town, check out the eclectic shops and then relax with may be a drink from the bar as the train takes you back to Castlemaine. Only got a morning or afternoon? Then catch one of the services from Maldon to Castlemaine returning to Maldon.
