The Willow Creek Vineyard site in Merricks North is presently closed and will not be reopening until the end of 2016, but you can visit their cool new cellar door in Cook Street, Flinders.
Open from Thursday to Monday, 11:00am to 5:00pm, come and try their range of elegant wines and then check out the galleries, boutiques, cafes and chocolate shop next door.
Willow Creek's winemaker, Geraldine McFaul, is still crafting her expressive sparkling, chardonnay, pinot noir, sauvignon blanc, pinot gris, cabernet and shiraz in the winery, from the grapes that have been hand tended by Robbie O'Leary since 1989.
James Halliday's 2016 Wine Companion has awarded the winery the highest accolade of five red stars, with three wines in the 'best of the best' lists.
