Entering the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area at Glenbrook the first Discovery Trail you will encounter is the Glenbrook Discovery Trail exploring the sandstone 'Blue Labyrinth' beyond Glenbrook Creek gorge.
Plan your visit at the Blue Mountains Visitor Information Centre at Glenbrook where local staff can help and advise on local road conditions, especially after heavy or prolonged rain.
The park entry fee gives access to a road system connecting several picnic areas, lookouts over the Nepean river gorge, a camping area, swimming holes, an Aboriginal art site and bush walking tracks.
Highlights include Euroka - a delightful picnic area and campground, Glenbrook Creek, Tunnel View, Red Hands Cave, Mount Portal and Nepean Lookouts.
Starting and ending in Glenbrook village, the trail is 47 kilometres return, takes about three hours and involves narrow sealed and unsealed roads plus stops.
