A wooden boardwalk and walking tracks run through bushland along the south bank of the estuary from the Esplanade to the Nepean Highway. The Estuary is home to numerous species of flora and fauna. Once at the highway, an extension of this can be to take the track that goes underneath Nepean Highway connecting with walking tracks in The Briars Park.
