To promote throughout the Darling Downs and beyond an appreciation of, respect for and concern for the preservation of the planets biodiversity by the display of a representative and planned collection of animal life in appropriate social groupings and simulated habitats.
The Darling Downs Zoo is Queenslands newest zoo and is situated in a tranquil rural setting on Queenslands beautiful eastern Darling Downs ... about midway between Toowoomba and Warwick.
The zoo is privately owned by Steve and Stephanie Robinson who have devoted their lives to the care of all creatures great and small. Between them they have accumulated well over 50 years of animal keeping experience.
