Our Vision is to provide a "True German Food Experience" which goes well beyond the stereotype of Schnitzel & Beer. We will champion local/regional produce and cook what we love to eat ourselves. A vast variety through the different foods and regional cultures of Germany and its European Neighbours. Rosenhof German Heritage Cafe and Restaurant will also be an ideal place for Family Functions, Weddings, Events, Seminars, Markets, Trainings and Corporate Meetings.
With normal Cafe seating of about 30, The Blue Room for up to 14 and vast Garden Cafe - we can accomodate a variety of functions small and large.
Rosenhof translates from the German into Roseyard, Rosegarden, Rosecourt or Rosefarm. Besides the over hundred and fifty fruit trees recently planted on the property, Roses will be one of the main features in the garden. Once fully established, the roses can be enjoyed in the garden and throughout the Cafe / House for decoration.
The RosenHof (Rose Yard) house was built in 1858 and modified many times. It was Tenterfield's first bank and later the home of Australia's first surviving quintuplets. The Property is heritage listed. Renovation of the building took over 3 1/2 years and Rosenhof is now open to the public for the first time since the late 1800s
