Established in 1891, Springwood’s Oriental Hotel is home to the welcoming Ori Cafe. A warm, heritage interior belies the restaurant’s menu, a mix of well executed classics and inspired creations – intriguing plays on colours, flavours and textures that wouldn’t look out of place in a modern art gallery. Common to every dish is the freshest of market produce, sourced daily with casual starters like the Parmesan battered eggplant chips or chicken paté, whilst those after something a little more substantial may opt for a prawn linguine with chorizo or perhaps a porterhouse steak with salad and fries. Be sure to finish with a sweet tempter such as sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce, Chantilly cream and vanilla ice cream.
