Byron Bay restaurants don’t get much more legendary than Earth ‘n’ Sea Amazing Pizza & Pasta, opened way back in 1976. The place relocated (a few doors down) in 2009 but it still feels delightfully retro, with funky U-shaped banquettes, surfing paraphernalia & local artwork decorating the walls. Rather than changing, the menu’s expanded so diners can try new things or stick to old favourites. From salads & pastas to desserts, everything’s made from scratch using the best local produce from earth & sea. It’s hard to go past their famous pizzas, though, made with wholemeal bases and unique toppings like leg ham, beef, pepperoni, capsicum, button mushrooms, onion, pineapple chunks & prawns.
